NOWROOZ COOKIES







Good afternoon, lovelies.
Today is a very delicate rainy day here with beautiful clouds. A real Spring day! So my friend and I took a long walk and enjoyed each other's company.
And these cookies are homemade by mom and me. Our every year's tradition for Nowrooz. Almond, saffron and pistachio! :-)

    We just had an Iranian photographer (Kimia Rahgozar) exhibit here in Montreal. At the opening the owner of the gallery served these lovely cookies- I especially liked the ones made with chick pea flour (Norochi??) Must be a good lesson in patience making these :)
