We're in the last hours of this year. So for a brief review of my year I chose a portrait per month. It always feels strange to look back upon past with its all ups and downs. But I should say that this year was more a neutral section of my path in life and not with many ups and downs. Well there's nothing to complain and that's the reason to be thankful.

i am not sure why, but not all the photos will load (or the page itself). what i can see is absolutely amazing. these are some of the best portraits i have ever seen. that first one takes my breath away.

Amazing portraits! I love portraits of older people, it is as if the wrinkles bring more soul to the portrait:)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely true of your quote about black and white photographs and the soul, but I think I would add that it really depends on the photographer too :) I think when the pictures reveal the photographer's soul, that's when the viewer really is drawn into the magic.
