MOTHER IN HER MEMORIES

I was always astounded, as a viewer, about the deep and mysterious connection people make with their past through looking at their old photographs, specially when they start getting older. Encouraged to discover more, I began to ask old or mid-aged people to look at some of their old photographs together, and recorded their facial expressions and at last asked them: how do you feel? The answers were very varied; like one said she feels that little girl in the old photograph is her daughter and not her-little-self, or another responded that he is not very sure what he was reading in that photograph and is very intrigued to know!

Mother In Her Memories is a self-directed work I did with the same motif.

Hello and happy Monday, everyone!

Today I am here to finally announce my "to me" very exciting news! In the past three months my friend, Niloofar and I have been working hard on a new brand photography group called Lily Bloom and today we're officially launched! You can visit our website, lilybloomphotography.com. The English part is not complete but you can still view our galleries.

Photography has been always a strong passion for me and now working as a family and children photographer... looks really like a dream.

I am really looking forward to the future of this new business, and all the opportunities out there! Please visit my portfolio because I do really like to hear your feedback.

POSTER DESIGN

About eight months ago I finished my bachelor's degree in visual communication / Graphic design. Today I finally found the right time to share some of my works here with you.

My final project (thesis) was about environment issues. I had such a dramatic time researching about the problems we are facing on this beautiful planet and how we're changing our very near future ignorantly by our own hands. I was so happy to choose this subject. It literally changed my life in many aspects.

My posters are all in persian, so please read the little notes in English below each of them. (I am not quiet pleased with the translation I did though.)
