"When you photograph people in colour you photograph their clothes. When you photograph people in black and white, you photograph their souls." Ted Grant
We're in the last hours of this year. So for a brief review of my year I chose a portrait per month. It always feels strange to look back upon past with its all ups and downs. But I should say that this year was more a neutral section of my path in life and not with many ups and downs. Well there's nothing to complain and that's the reason to be thankful.

These are beautiful portraits!
happy new year, beautiful!! I hope your day is fruitful and full of love and happiness :)
Happy, happy new year to you! I enjoyed all of the photos that you shared today. My very favorite photo of yours from this last year is the one where someone's hands are above another's head so that it looks like antlers. I think that I favorited it on Flickr because it's so cool.

Beautiful portraits! Wish you a wonderful new year!
These photographs made me smile the moment I saw them and I'd like to think of them as my new year's present.
Thank you for making me smile...again.

Such wonderful portraits, beautiful! Happy Nowrooz to you and your family!!
I just love the first one and the one with two ladies. You have One Great Eye;D
wow they're all incredibly beautiful ! i love the way you edited them and the composition, too.
i wish you peace, health & love in this new year
Amazing portraits! I love portraits of older people, it is as if the wrinkles bring more soul to the portrait:)
Absolutely true of your quote about black and white photographs and the soul, but I think I would add that it really depends on the photographer too :) I think when the pictures reveal the photographer's soul, that's when the viewer really is drawn into the magic.
Love the two grande dames towards the end of the series... Would love to have a cup of tea with them...
