ME AND THE LITTLE PINE CONES

I have added some little words on my sidebar. Take a look, please.

I decided not to use my car and walk as much as possible. That's the tiniest result of working on an environmental project. Please walk or ride your bicycles, when you can. We all need to help this unbelievable huge problem. This is about one week that I haven't drive at all, and it feels simply good.
I think we might talk about it more later, but for now, please walk. xo

Ida : Yes dear, I took them last summer in Germany. Thank you so much! :-)
Everyone : Thanks! xo

:) I don't have a car, and always walk. To take the bus would be ridiculous because this town is so tiny, walking is cheaper and faster. ;) So yeah, I totally agree with you on this topic. :D

sweet kind of retro photos. i like :)

funny enough, i find that after i moved to the countryside and feel so much closer to nature and able to live a healthy life, i use the car much more than i did in the city. i guess, it's obvious, but it still bothers me a bit. i'm from denmark, i would prefer to bike everywhere. but the roads, driving style and infrastructure of the israeli countryside just make that ridiculously dangerous.

Your little footy socks are wonderful! Good for you for taking walks! More power to the walkers & cyclers :)

I am desperately looking for some pine cones to add to my wintery decorations, but can't find any in London. We are pretty pine-free here, which is a shame.
Lov your house-shoes, they remind me on my childhood.

I luuurve yours socks. I remember making very similar ones back in my secondary school years.
Living in London, you're kind of force not to drive, which is great. I tend to walk to work, to the grocers, to the girl's school, everywhere... Great exercise, and little contribution to save the planet.

I don't walk to save on gas but I get loads of exercise at the gym.

Beautiful pictures! I completely agreed. I started eliminating unnecessary things from my life a few years ago (having a television and a car, etc) and I've never looked back. Here's to walking! :)

i'm with you on the environmental class-induced walking! living in the city, there is no excuse for not walking or using public transportation, but in the suburbs a bike is still just as effective!

Lovely pictures, the red color feels like christmas! :)
How great to look back at a week without using the car a lot... It's the little things that can make a difference!

I SO wish I didn't live in a car necessary locale. I LOVED walking everywhere when I lived in DC. Love that shot of the socks!
